Description

Acrylic crackle paste white, fine/smooth, matt Highly absorbent, ready-to-use acrylic paste for creating crackle in acrylic painting and for structuring, modeling designs on grease-free, stable, preferably rigid surfaces such as primed wood or painting boards; can be painted over with acrylic paint. Apply pure or mixed with acrylic paints (max. 30%) using a spatula or similar. (Paste has a brightening effect!). The adhesion to the surface must be sufficiently high to prevent detachment from the surface during the drying process (high material tension). The drying process is highly dependent on the layer thickness and takes a few minutes to several hours; the crackle forms during the drying process. Pre-treat critical surfaces with e.g. Schmincke Gesso (50 518). Crackle paste is water-miscible, but dries to be insoluble in water. Dried residues can be removed with brush cleaner (50 051) or eco-brush cleaner (50 052).
