The wide, flat brushes in the 5074 series are made of synthetic fibers that have been specially developed for da Vinci FORTE BASIC. They combine the properties of hair and bristles. The wide brushes, also known as modlers, are especially suitable for applying paint over large areas of rough surfaces. The da Vinci FORTE synthetic brushes guarantee a clean line edge and a reliable brush tip. The synthetic brushes are equipped with a rust-proof stainless steel ferrule and a short, matt blue wooden handle with a hole. The hairs are firmly attached to the handy short handle, preventing annoying hair loss. The modlers in the da Vinci FORTE BASIC series 5074 are used as priming, glazing and wash brushes as well as for many painting and imitation techniques.
