Description

The batik wax is a special mixture with stearin, paraffin and beeswax. The batik wax is applied in melted form to the textiles that are not to be dyed. The DEKA batik wax is suitable for silk painting, as well as for various batik techniques.

The ready-to-use fixing agent increases the washfastness of textiles after dyeing with DEKA Batik Dye “L”. Available in 25ml and 250ml.

Hand wash basin Stir 50ml of DEKA-TextilFit into 2 liters of hot water. Soak the fabric (max. 100g dry weight) in the mixture for about 15 minutes. Then rinse very carefully with hot water and rinse again with cold water. Wear rubber gloves.

Washing machine Add 500ml DEKA-TextilFit to the main wash cycle (economy program without pre-wash). Use a maximum of 1000g of fabric (dry weight). Adjust the temperature depending on the type of fabric

The batik pot is made of aluminum with a wooden handle for good guidance. As soon as you touch the part to be painted with the spout, the wax flows. This means that there are hardly any unwanted drips. The curved 0.8mm spout produces medium-fine lines, while the 1.2mm spout produces slightly thicker lines.
